Introduction to Force Balance Technique – Interview
Dean Kotopski – Clinical Director of Performax Health Group and Founder of Force Balance Technique – was interviewed on CKNW radio by Stirling Faux on Dean’s process for addressing hip, knee and lower back pain, as well as other chronic pain issues. They discuss the concept of Force Balance Technique (FBT), including the importance of the initial assessment and source identification of pain and injury. FBT has been used with many top professional athletes, but more importantly is available for anyone suffering from chronic pain, instability, joint dysfunction or movement impairments. By addressing joint stability, mobility and motor control at the skeletal level, you can build a strong foundation upon which all movement and strength can originate. If necessary, orthobiologic, regenerative procedures in the form of Stems Cells and Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) applications can be explored. The results achieved through the FBT approach are sustainable and durable when the appropriate process is followed.
